BIKE THE TRAIL 2013
Dress up and celebrate St.Patricks Day for Bike the Trail, Sunday 17 March.

Bring your friends and family and enjoy an easy, scenic bike ride down Hutt River Trail to Hikoikoi Reserve, Petone. Try the 2 ½ hour ride covering 25km from Harcourt Park in Upper Hutt or the 1 hour 12k ride from Eastern Hutt Road in Stokes Valley.

Both rides start between 11am and 12pm, and approximately 50 riders at a time will be set off every 3-5 minutes.

A special kids cycle-skills training workshop will be held before the event from 9.30am at Harcourt Park featuring prizes and games. Pedal Ready will be running a cycle-skills course, and kids will also be able to take part in a ‘slow’ bike race, kit their bike out with free reflective gear and other bike accessories, have their helmets and bikes checked.

Bring some cash, the ride will be followed by a tasty BBQ at Hikoikoi Reserve; all proceeds will support the local Connex Youth project. Enjoy the afternoon with music, giveaways, and fun for the whole family. Free return transport is available to you and your bike from 1.00pm until 3.00pm.
